Internship Look Book - Mohawk Industries
I had the opportunity to design a visually rich trends presentation for Mohawk Industries, forecasting the 2025 direction for hard surface flooring. I drew inspiration from the natural world and the passage of time—thinking about how elements like tree rings, erosion, and organic textures could inform both the visual storytelling and product direction. Mohawk’s deep-rooted history and commitment to sustainability also played a key role in shaping the concept.
As I curated trend research, I focused on creating a cohesive narrative that connected materials, color palettes, and design influences with a sense of purpose. The result was a presentation that not only highlighted upcoming innovations in flooring but also reflected Mohawk’s values—timeless design, forward-thinking sustainability, and a strong connection to nature. The final piece was used as a strategic tool for both internal teams and client partners to guide inspiration and product development.
