Museum of X
This project felt like a mix of passion and opportunity. I was approached to design a museum concept—or rather, when the idea for one started forming in my head—I knew I wanted to center it around tequila. Not just because I enjoy it, but because I’ve always been drawn to packaging design—and tequila bottles are some of the most creative and beautiful out there. When I was approached to design a museum concept—or rather, when the idea for one started forming in my head—I knew I wanted to center it around tequila. The bottles alone tell stories—each one unique, expressive, and rooted in tradition. It felt like the perfect subject to explore creatively.
As part of the project, I gathered 150 images to use for a website, and during that process, I fell in love with the variety of bottle shapes and label designs. It was such a fun deep dive into how branding and culture come together.
From there, I worked on logo sketches and chose a direction that felt authentic and bold. Since the target audience would mostly be 21+, I wanted the museum to be more than just visually interesting—I wanted it to be informative too. So I focused on educating visitors about how tequila is made, its cultural roots, and even included a “Wall of Tequila” as a standout feature.
It became a project that blended personal interest with design thinking—and reminded me how powerful storytelling can be through visuals.
