Reflection of Practice

Reflection of Practice began as a way for me to explore and respond to curated articles and interviews centered around design—but it quickly evolved into something much more. As I read and reflected, I challenged myself to translate those ideas visually, experimenting with a range of layout methods to see how form could mirror content.

Each spread became a playground for testing different grid systems, type hierarchies, and visual pacing. Some pages leaned into structure, while others broke the rules entirely, depending on the tone and message of the article. Designing this book was just as much about exploring my own process as it was about documenting the thoughts and insights of others. It became a space where content and composition could push and inform each other—something that made the whole project feel both personal and dynamic.
